Investing In Your Wellbeing

Fees & Insurance

Seeking therapy is an investment in your emotional well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life. My goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care in a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to engage in meaningful work together.

Session Fees

Individual Therapy (50 minutes): $195

Couples Counseling (60 minutes): $225

Extended sessions (90 minutes): $295

Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards.

Insurance

If you have a PPO insurance plan, your plan may reimburse a significant portion of your session fee through out-of-network benefits. Many clients are pleasantly surprised to learn they have coverage.

If you'd like to use your out-of-network benefits, I can provide a monthly superbill that you can submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to ask about your mental health benefits before your first appointment.

I am in-network with Aetna Student Health

Questions to Ask Your Insurance Company

Before your first session, you may find it helpful to ask:

✓ Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

✓ What is my deductible?

✓ Have I met my deductible?

✓ What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?

✓ Is there a limit to the number of therapy sessions covered each year?

✓ Do I need prior authorization?

Why I Choose a Private Practice Model

Working in private practice allows me to maintain a small, intentional caseload and provide individualized care tailored to each client's unique needs. It also gives us greater flexibility in determining the focus and pace of therapy, without many of the limitations that can accompany insurance-based treatment.

As an independent practice, I also invest significantly in my professional development. High-quality therapy requires more than a license—it requires an ongoing commitment to learning. Each year, I dedicate substantial time and resources to advanced training, consultation, and continuing education so I can provide the most effective, evidence-based care possible. This includes specialized training in areas such as EMDR, attachment-focused therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, trauma treatment, and other approaches that continue to deepen and strengthen my clinical work.

When you choose to work with me, you're not only investing in weekly therapy sessions—you're benefiting from years of specialized education and a commitment to staying current with the latest research and best practices. My goal is to provide care that is thoughtful, personalized, and grounded in approaches that have been shown to support lasting change.

You can learn more about my training and professional background on my About page.
